We’re grateful for every person who helps us create meaningful, community-centered events for small businesses. Whether you prefer hands-on event support or behind-the-scenes work, we have a place for you on our volunteer team.

Event Setup Crew
Help prepare the event space by arranging tables, tents, signage, and vendor areas.
Vendor Check-In Assistant
Welcome vendors as they arrive, guide them to their booth spaces, and provide essential event information.
Customer Welcome Team
Greet guests, hand out event maps, answer questions, and help create a warm, inviting atmosphere.
Floaters / Support Crew
Assist vendors, restock supplies, handle quick problem-solving, and support the event coordinators as needed.
Breakdown Crew
Help close out the event by packing equipment, clearing trash, organizing supplies, and ensuring the venue is left clean and in good condition.
Kids Area Helper (If applicable)
Assist with craft stations, activities, or family-friendly areas during select markets.

Content Creation Team
Assist with photography, video content, or editing for our social media channels. Perfect for creatives who want portfolio-building experience.
Social Media Support
Help draft posts, brainstorm ideas, schedule content, or research trends that highlight our small-business mission.
Community Outreach Assistant
Reach out to community partners, schools, local organizations, and small businesses to build relationships and promote upcoming programs.
Digital Newsletter Helper
Support by drafting updates, creating graphics, or curating stories for our email newsletters.
Flyer Distribution Team
Help distribute flyers to coffee shops, community centers, local businesses, and public spaces around Houston.
Vendor Research Assistant
Help us find new small businesses, identify underrepresented entrepreneurs, and keep our vendor list fresh and diverse.
Grant Research Helper
Assist with researching relevant grants or funding opportunities that support small business development (no experience needed — we’ll guide you).
Administrative Support
Help with email sorting, spreadsheet updates, vendor organization, and prep for events.
